Poem 42: Sounds of Thanksgiving

Honk! Beep! Buzz!
The traffic sounds of love
float in echoed chorus.

Whirl! Snore! Bop!
First we go and then we stop,
crawling down the freeway.

Drip! Boing! Dang!
Snow falls on window panes,
children bounce upon seats.

Yeah!  Horaay!
We've come and plan to stay,
family greets us in love.

Slurp! Munch! Crunch!
Smiles shared eating lunch;
celebrating Thanksgiving.
